About
This workshop introduces participants to the Quill Model Language Ladder by building off key learnings from The Heart of the IEP, Evaluations and Eligibility for DHH Students, and Integrative Progress Monitoring. Teachers and therapists will use existing baseline data from current students to develop robust language IEP goals in the areas of form, content, and use. Form, Content, and Use are the three major areas of language development developed by Bloom and Lahey (1975). Quill Model has adapted this model to integrate best practices in Listening and Spoken Language and American Sign Language, self-concept, self-advocacy, and pragmatic development of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
