Language Facilitation - The Foundation

Interpreters, Transliterators, and Teachers of the Deaf will be introduced to the Quill Model Language Facilitator Model. Participants will:

• Explain what facilitation is and is not and describe the reasoning and research that supports this model.

• Review the developmental sequence of oral and signed language development and apply it to the practice of language facilitation for Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students.
