Using a flipped classroom format, participants will identify one student on their caseload to evaluate their IEP applying the highlighter test and IEP audit rubric, complete a language sample, plot the sample on the appropriate developmental language chart (ALG, CASLLS, Bloom and Lahey, or VCSL), and assess the student on self-advocacy skills using a chosen tool from the approved list. Given an identified student, participants will conduct the highlighter test described in the previous IEP training.
