For children with delayed or underexposed L1 skills, including children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, providing targeted language treatment in the school setting is challenging. Barriers include the student's variable rate of growth. and limited resources which easily align with eligibility and the IEP framework. This presentation introduces a framework to guide SLPs and Teachers of the Deaf from eligibility to daily treatment based on Bloom and Lahey's Form, Content, and Use (1978) model.
