Educator Series Workshops
The Quill Model Educator Series is more than just professional development, it’s a collaborative learning experience designed to inspire, equip, and empower professionals who support Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students.
Each year, our four-part series features dynamic, research-driven workshops led by leaders and innovators in Deaf Education. Every session offers actionable tools, real-world applications, and reflective insights that participants can immediately integrate into their practice — whether at home, in the classroom, during language facilitation, or through interpreting support.
Through these interactive sessions, educators will:
-
Deepen their understanding of language acquisition, access, and equity for DHH learners.
-
Learn evidence-based strategies to foster communication, literacy, and self-advocacy.
-
Explore the intersection of ASL, spoken language, and educational accessibility in diverse learning environments.
Connect with a vibrant community of professionals who share a passion for creating inclusive, language-rich spaces where all students can thrive. Each workshop includes opportunities for discussion, reflection, and resource sharing, ensuring that every participant walks away not only informed but inspired.
Join us for one workshop, or attend the full series for a comprehensive journey of growth and collaboration. Together, we’re Revolutionizing Deaf Education, one conversation at a time.
